Aw, that's great! The first time I've heard Dirk sing (singing? help! my English... please, someone tell me what's right here!) Somehow I never counted the duet with Hannibal in The Beast from the Belly... or that song in Georgia Peaches as serious singing. Nice!

It's too bad the sound isn't very good, especially at the beginning. While I'm not crazy about the song, at least now we have an idea of what he would've sounded like on stage - Lil Abner, Oklahoma...sigh. Now I *really* wish I could've seen those...

I'm wondering if there are any videos of Dirk in Lil Abner or Oklahoma. Gonna look for those. I've seen publicity shots. I rather like the song. I remember watching this when I was a teenager and I wished it was me singing with Dirk.

This is neat!
Download the file from YouTube - preferably as mp4.
Go to media-convert.com/
Follow the instructions and it will convert to a file type playable on Windows Media Player (for example) - totally online, totally free. Just converted this to an avi file and it's smoother and the sound is improved as well. I supposed depending on what file type you convert to, it could be improved quite a bit. Something to play with any way - and what a great clip to play with ;D

I find the one you've posted a lot more user friendly.
